right just seems like inline pump isn't the best then.

Just thinking about it if you do choose that pump, and you use netafim pressure compensated drippers like https://duralirrigation.com.au/products/netafim-pcj-on-line-pressure-compensated-drippers

you could just run the pump with a simple timer when it turns off won't be anough pressure in the line to turn those drippers on.
Yeah I just don’t like submersibles. Pump and transformer are already ordered. Once it’s here I’ll grab the pressure hardware from Bunnings.

Plan was to not use drippers at this stage. Manifolds have needle valves to control flow. At this stage it’s all plans but and up for being changed if need be

Are the manifolds eventually going to be hooked up to a control panel, or just operating them manually?

which transformer do you use?

I'm looking at using one of these in the future https://www.mrboats.com.au/750gph-s...4k3Uysl0qVvxMqZ44Hngw09jEMgU-imYaAshcEALw_wcB

So my runoff can go into the garden not down the drain lol. Will need to wire it up tho
Just a basic 12v rack off eBay. 30a because it was $5 extra and they where sold out of 20a and I couldn’t be fucked scrolling for another listing 😂

I’ve looked at those to do auto dtw in a place I can’t get a natural drain in. Use that as a sump and pump it out.

They’re just manual needle valves. Only control will be a short action timer for the pump.

Ahh ok, wasn't sure if you were running different systems at different intervals from the one rez, or not.

Mid 80's I used to help install irrigation managed by rainbird systems on new avocado orchards. Great system when they worked, but back in the day, the solenoids would give you no end of trouble. Surely the solenoids have improved since then I hope. More often than not, folks would operate them manually like you're intending to do. (y)

Electric solenoids I worked with in a commercial setting a couple of years ago weren't going out all the time. Was still replacing some of them but that was after years of potential use.

Also got them running in my veggie patch no issue for years. I didn't go with the cheapest brand either.,
