Posting/Attaching various forms of media?

A cool feature with TSE is folks being able to post videos. Personally, i fuckin' love it. It's going to save a lot of time updating grow diaries, etc.. Admittedly, good quality pics will always be king, but at times for a quick update and/or pan of grow room speaks volumes as well

But yeah, just wondering what file types can be uploaded to the site, and/or are they converted whilst being uploaded?

m4v, mov, mp4, mp4v, mpeg, mpg, ogv, webm are the supported video formats. No conversion is done.

When I try to upload vids from my phone I get an error. "File is not a video as expected" they are mp4. Any clues?

I get the same message either way. I've tried reducing the file size but it doesn't help.

i was getting that error the other day (Friday) while trying to upload a picture. I had the extra kicker of having it log me out str8 after the upload error. 3 times until it got over itself 'n done the deed.

16MB was the smallest one I tried.
