I have a outdoor potted plant halfway budded (just 500mm tall) and a male (seperated in hothouse) that i want to pollinate with....

Both in pots so should I simply put the female against the male and shake pollen over the buds or shake some pollen into a bowl and paintbrush it on...?..not sure yet whether to pollinate whole plant or just some..if I do just some will the pollen thats paintbrushed on blow over the rest of the buds anyway..?

and being as they are sativa's and its a bit breezy at the moment how long should I let the female sit before giving it a hose off and returning it to its home where its near other plants that I dont want pollinated..?

Sorry for all the questions but i have never actually purposely tried to create seeds before...

If you put her next to the boy you will get heaps of pollen on her and lots of seedy buds at the expense of good buds .

better to collect some from him and brush on certain branches,,some pollen will drift but you will still have lotsa good buds without seeds. For smoking and plenty of seed from your selected branch or branches..

@QLD guy good on ya bud for making seed for next rounds, I think that's half the battle won if you have a nice all round plant that grows and smokes good then by generations it should only get better at growing in your area with same soil, climate and watering..well to the best it can be..
