pH meter for living soil grows

Keen to see what direct soil ph meters you’re using.

I don’t run off with my living soil grows, so I’m looking for a meter for testing soil directly.

Do the $20 ones from Bunnings really work? I’ve tried some of the titration kits but I’d be fkd if I can see what colour the test is once soil or nuts solution is used.

Theres a heap of probes like the Hanna ones but there not cheap.

Can anyone recommend a pH Soil Tester? It's something i've never considered, and i'm looking for something general purpose for around the yard. Not real keen on the liquid/dye ones, was looking more towards the probe ones, or is there anything else better? Not wanting to spend too much on it...

I know at over $200 it's fairly expensive but I have had mine for 7 years now and had no problems at all
It's easy to calibrate with some ph 7 buffering solution which keeps it accurate
as well as soil it will measure the ph of liquids and give temp readings as well
