Yeah I know that area, haven't been to Newtown in years but it had some awesome restaurants back when I was around there, and of course the Enmore theatre when you want to get smashed and watch a Primus gig, or a comedy show.

You'll get some good advice from this mob, Slowcooker. Many folks here are growing various ways. It's just a matter of knowing what grow style you want to go with and create a grow diary, and the right people will surface and help you along the way with it if you like.

Fark, now we're getting somewhere. Everyone else is from rural QLD/VIC or even just Melbourne.
I can't relate to that so it's good to see some peeps from where I used to live.

Had a few mates that spent a few years living in Newton was a good spot to start the night!
Had a few mates that lived in Surrey Hills, Redfern and the Cross ahh good times!!
Could never live in the city me slelf though!!

yeah I worked in Surry Hills for years, there's some good pubs for lunch around that area.
I know the Cross very very well, but only because I was forced to live there for a few years back around 2001.
Everyone I knew from back there is dead now, you can probably guess why.
