I thought I would just let everyone knows that my order came through and I sprouted the seeds on paper towels for a few days at about 25c and then potted them today...

I ordered mostly sativa dominant types and about 60% were popped after 3 days..most of the seeds looked nice and dark and hard though in the 10 pack of sour demon 2 were fully white and light beans and obviously unviable as they popped between my fingers as expected...must have been bring your kid to work day at the seed packaging shop that day though 7 out of the remaining 8 popped so I,m happy with that..

They were put in seedling sells in 2 mixs..one cocopeat and perlite and the other searles seed raising mix and perlite..I'll see how they go...

So far happy with my first ever seed order....and also looking for a few more basic outdoor sativa strains suitable for the Tropics if anyone has any tips...

Hi Pixie..the parentage of that strain suggests indica dominant....I just basically want some old school sativa...you know maui wowie, mullum madness, acapulco gold etc ...call me old fashioned but what ever happened to simplicity at its finest...🤣

I can't vouch for these but the Real Seed Company has some good sativa landrace strains. Ace has some good ones as well. I got their Mango Thai.

I was gifted some squirrel tail and chocolate thai but yet to grow them.

They look like some good strains there ...What do you think the odds are of them getting through customs though..?

and did the Mango Thai live up to your expectations....?..25 yrs back i grew some plants from seeds given to me which had a real mango smell..I rate them as some of the best buds I ever had..smoked up well and their smell was just divine..

I got some seeds from TRSC through just before covid, and some more recently from another company. The guy who runs it is well respected and has a wealth of knowledge on cannabis, especially landrace.

I have not grown the Mango Thai yet. but I've grown a couple of Indian varieties that are legit. I am hoping to do the Mango soon.
