Hey all, decided to start some seedlings inside to give em a head start. Got myself a 60cm x 60cm x 120cm tent with a SF 1000 light with dimmer. Never used led before, so wondering what height and dimmer settings I should aim for germination and a few weeks growth before moving outside. Will be started in coco and grown in the ground when outside. Thanks

That's a 100 watt light. Only cost about 3 cents per hour to run, so run it on full power. I use 135 watt lights on my seedlings, and start at 60cm distance and let plants grow up into the light. After the plants have established for a few weeks you can run them at around 40cms distance. When moving them outside, just give them a few hours each morning for a couple of days in direct sunlight to acclimatise. Sun in October can burn seedlings that were raised indoors.

Seems the research is saying the blurple is the way to go for max veg results...
I reckon I got the most explosive rubbery, massive, lush green growth from a Mars hydro 960w blurple compared to the Samsung LM301H's I have now in 3000/3500/& 4000K.
Let me know if you have similar experiences??
