Is topping Auto flowers necessary

yea, all personal preference. Just keep in mind I've had a few pre flower quickly after a top if they were already stressed, but most of the healthy ones don't mind. I top mine simply because I'm limited in height, but I've seen better results with bending if you have a strain that doesn't veg long. Sometimes that minor stunt can be a killer with autos, sometimes they just don't care in the slightest and power on.

definately personal choice howeve rmy current grow i topped 6th node and it has gone bonkers,from what ive seen if good gens then the yeild will be largwer than not topping imo.

No scientific proof that topping autos will give more yield but I reckon if u top just once it gives a better structure, more easily trained and reduces mold in main cola
Just one of those things that u have to try 4 yourself

Can’t say too much as nearly every auto I’ve grown I’ve given em big chop-chop (topped)
Sometimes u gotta just bite the bullet and go with gutz
