Something to leave the grandkids.
Only 600 euro's. Might grab 2 or 3 of them. Bargain

The grinderoo is alright. Under $40 delivered, chops very nice very sharp

Only problem is the kief screen. Its way too coarse too much fine green shit ends up in it. I think it has a 60 micron screen.

Been promising myself to grab one of these when I eventually got a couple of hundred spare. Reason's being, they're turned down out of aircraft alloy, and there's 3 different/interchangeable cutting plates (S,M,L.) Seeing I vape now, I'm leaning towards the large/coarse plate, which appears to be about the optimal cut size suitable to me.

I was thinking of the grinderoo. Have you found a way to limit they excess green falling thru ??
Yeah there is no real way to swap out the 60 micron mesh. Its good in the sense that the kief pile fills up quick, but is pretty low quality due to the fine plant matter that sneaks in. It all gets smoked though

My trim tray/bin has a 150 micron which is too fine, it collects fuck all. About 100 micron would be ideal I reckon when im next in the market for a new grinder.

There is a new grinder that someone in aus has been making and is releasing them at 4:20pm today on his site. Looks kinda cool, like a fidget spinner runs on a bearing. I'm not much of a grinder fan but thought I'd give this guy a plug seeing as he's local. There is a YouTube link I can find of how they are made and operate if anyone is interested. He has also made titanium pipes.

Like to see if it can cut dense sticky flowers.
Guess u wont have to wait long to find out.
Have tried a few metal grinders in the past only to be disappointed with lack luster cutting and blockage and always returned to stores and bickel plastic model.
Happy to get the aussie product if its up to the task.🇦🇺

Yeah, gotta admit for around $15, the Story & Bickel is a ripper. Gotta be careful though, sometimes a half turn can be too much with dry buds. It shreads whatever you throw at it.

I've been using SLX grinders for a couple years. Ceramic coating I think and it keeps very clean. Rarely need to clean them and when I do, just a que-tip dipped in iso. Highly recommended.

However, the other day I got a Flowermill with the extra plate set. The first time I've tried a "different" grinder that is genuinely different. Mills the herb, rather than grinds. A bit slower, but the herb comes out very fluffy. It really does seem to get me higher for the same weight of milled vs ground herb. This could be due to me using a vaporizer and I don't know if the difference would translate to smoking. I suggest the finest plate for ball vapes (e.g. OHFT) and medium for portables (e.g. Firefly, Zeus). Gonna try the coarsest in the rosin press soon...

Sounds interesting. Did you get it local, or was it an import?

I bought mine from Flowermill, they had a sale at the time. But, I'm pretty sure they are available domestically if you look around. I'm still happy with it after a few weeks. The finest plate is a bit ardous to grind, but that is to be expected. The standard medium plate works smooth and perfect for most situations.

I just bought a little vape for my lungs, the cheap grinder I had was useless. The SLX is an absolute joy, everything is nice and fluffy and everything burns evenly.

I'm never going back to the scissors.
