Hi Guys,
Just started a few months ago with a spiderfarmer kit (SF2000 & 4x2 tent), got a second tent and cheapo 100w LED for seedlings & veg.
I had some issues with shitty Bunnings potting mix in the beginning but things are going pretty well atm. Got some Critical Mass in week 5 of flower, they aren't looking great but I brought them back from the dead. Also popped in some Super Lemon Haze a few days ago, they have been doing really well so far.
I switched to Canna Terra for the soil after getting screwed by shitty potting mix, pretty pricy but much better results. Using Cyco for base nutes & silica, Canna pk13/14, CalMag and molasses.
Having a lot of fun, growing is pretty enjoyable- especially when everything is going well.

Unfortunately I haven't invested in an EC meter yet - but they've been getting fed pretty well. Those plants had a ROUGH start and lots of issues early on, but they've been getting plenty of base nutes and pk boost - I figured they may have a mag deficiency so I gave them a dose of epsom salts yesterday

Thanks! Will start a grow journal when I pop some more seeds in Feb. Those Super Lemon Haze have meant to have a pretty long flower time, so they'll be hogging the tent for a while. Old Mate says they're his fave strain so ought to be worth it.

Couple of good strength feeds of veg nutes for nitrogen would prob fix their colour up ..
A good ec meter is really worth it’s value in giving you more control ,,you won’t regret the investment.

G'day mate. You're going alright for your first rodeo. . Gotta pH the water/feed every single time in Canna Terra Pro. Best between 5.8 to 6.2. Need a decent (Bluelab) pH pen to achieve that. You may/may not be supplying enough nutrients ( in correct EC range), but needs to be applied at right PH level for plant to take up nutrients they need. Much cheaper to mix CTP with a 50/50 mix of perlite to CTP, and you get much faster growth. I dilute the mix to 60/40 perlite to CTP, with a few handfuls of compost. . A pH pen AND EC pen are both needed.

They've had a big feed and are looking a bit healthier. Buds are chubbing up, Lemon Haze girls are stretching like mad.

Oh man... I popped em in July, but they've spent half their time in veg totally stalled. I was about to toss them, but pruned them back and transplanted them to better soil and they came back to life. Being my first grow I made nearly every possible mistake, overwatering etc. They've been flowering for 38 days
