They're all a bit cranky on reddit today. Someone asked if they could fix their tele that had the screen all busted in. They didn't like it when I said. No wuckers, sticky tape and crayons can save the day in this case.

Fair enough, they reported me for it, and got a slap on the wrist by a mod.

But I think I might hit them with the definition of "fixed", and what that means to the individual, as that can vary from one person, to the next. Someone like myself could regard sticky tape and crayons the best possible "fix" for a busted arse TV. Sticky tape to tape the bezel, etc.. back in place, and the crayon's to draw a pretty picture for others to appreciate over the years to come..

Failing that, if the DC didn't regard that as a "fix" they should fuck off down to the local electrical store and buy a new TV, because that's what most folk (with a degree of commonsense) would do. Instead of starting a thread, post some pictures of a busted arse TV, and look like a dickhead for asking such a thing in the pursuit of internet points.

EDIT: FWIW, i think 5 people responded, and they reported two of us. The other blokes advice wasn't as outlandish as my suggestion.
