Email notifications

Have recently made some changes due to email suite reaching capacity.

It seems most users leave all email notifications on, so there is a bucketload of emails going out daily.

Have now switched the default to all email notifications off.

If you would like to receive notifications you will need to click on your username.

Select "Preferences" and then turn on email notifications for the items you wish.

Any issues, let me know.

strange, have you gone in to preferences and turned them off? I honestly thought that most users would probably use a burn email account and never look at it again after signing up...

use this one for all canna related stuff
saves remembering heaps of dif email addresses etc and yep I have turned off email alerts etc in my profile

What sort of notification is it? reply to a thread or??

Good stuff, i turned it off myself last week, as me stoner email addy copped a pizzlin' beforehand. Quite a acheivement for a dumb cunt i thought.

You will have to go to the thread, up top of each page got the watch button,

Everyone's settings were changed to turn off email notifications even if the thread was watched. Unless you change the settings to allow emails again, you'll see all watched thread notifications under the little bell up the top right.
If you want all email notifications turned off (except for account related emails), please ensure your preferences look like this:

If your preferences do look like this and you're still getting notifications, please let me know.
