This is the first time that I have not defoling from much earlier,I thought I'd see how she goes without, nice colors so far . Cheers

Instead of asking about every single event during the grow

How about you actually do a bit of reading and research in yourself

Maybe even experiment, cut some leaves and observe what happens

I'd say leave it be.

But Mick does have a point somewhat. I'd suggest do a diary, that way folks can backtrack in ONE thread and see what growing style you're using, and what you've done to it/them so far with the grow.

For instance, I can't recall what size your grow space is. So even my advice above could be a shitty opinion that no good to you.

All personal preference really. I remove the four or so sets of main leaves around week three and then don't touch anything after that.

I use the lowest leaves as an indicator as to when the plant starts to dig into its reserves as I don't feed for 7-8 weeks.. if you remove to many and hit a deficiency it'll start to pull from what's left.

At the end of the day I've never tested to see if there's my benefit or not...just a ritual.

Here's the last few around week three-four after the defol, I'll leave from here on.


As Mick mentioned, if you want to be sure, run a few pants and defol two and leave the other two as is and you'll find out if there's any benefit. I haven't and can't really say anything definitive bar what I usually do out of random ritual.

EC as of this morning now @ 2.0 EC out 2.15 , that is totally within range from what I've established so far.

I have had it at 2.4 one morning shit me self but sorted it

Day 49 today
Loves being fed every 4-5 hrs.
I have not checked the pH in this grow yet,just EC irrigation.
