Any uses / DIY projects for old Blurple lights?

I've been going through shit under the house after all the rain and rediscovered some old grow stuff that I'd pretty much forgotten about. Amongst it was two old Blurple LEDs, a mars reflector 48 and a MEIZHI 300 (old spiderfarmer). They've seen very little action, other than taking up space and collecting dust, and while my immediate impulse was to smash them with a hammer, it did occur to me that's probably not putting them to "best" use .

So the question arises, does anyone know of any use(s) for them... other than starting fires ? Any cool DIY projects to turn them into a panzer or the like?

Otherwise it's ! Unless anyone here have a use for them?

Not looking to get any return on them, just didn't want to waste them (as much fun as that would be). I like pulling shit apart and sometimes I even put things back together... sometimes . I thought they might be of some use for tinkering, but the AfghanAutoAllah makes a good point too! So, if anyone is in a spot and wants them, stick your hand up.

No worries I've never fucked with lights an indoor but I am looking to get in to it would these be a good start

To be honest, they're pretty old technology now. Noisey, hot, limited spectrum and questionable quality control. Probably only any good for veg, but having said that I did use the mars once through flower, with dissapointing results that sent me back outdoors for a few more years. Very fluffy buds

One thing (I think) I've noticed though, is that the blurples produced tighter internodal spacing through veg. Obviously there's many other factors to consider, but I think it made a difference

I had the idea to build a strip light rig around my blurple but then I won the spiderfarmer so didn’t bother. But yeah if someone used it for veg then combined it with some strips to boost it for flower then at least it’s getting used.
