Another cheap led from parts

Picked up a dud growboxau light had one board out for 50 bucks. Ordered 2 cutter 404 in 2700k running cree diodes for around 200 delivered . There's 404 as opposed to 288 the difference in output is huge for the same watts. Total cost is 250 cutter sells same setup for around 700. First thing I do is cut the double heatsink in half so I can stretch the light for a better spread and pop rivit them back together with some angle. Then tomorrow ill go to bunnings and get an AU plug and get rid off the cheap fire hazzard connection.



this is one i built from high bay led drivers i picked up and 6mm alloy plate for heat sink
